PITB is procuring IT hardware across two packages totaling ~86.7M PKR for transport governance and e-government projects.
Package A (77M) involves mainstream devices—laptops, tablets, printers, thermal units in bulk (70+ laptops, 141 tablets, 100 thermal printers). Package B (9.7M) is specialized: VR/AR hardware with 360 cameras plus smartphones. Scale is medium-to-large with fixed bid security per item. Closing date is 20+ months away, suggesting deliberate planning; no recurring indicator, likely one-off project phases. Online submission only via eP portal; FBR registration mandatory. Vendors should assess technical specifications carefully—AR/VR equipment in Package B requires niche sourcing.
Who can bid: Bidders must be FBR-registered with valid tax registration certificates. Compliance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure required. SECP or NTN registration typically expected for corporate entities. No explicit PEC requirement stated (IT equipment, not construction). Vendor must demonstrate relevant business credentials and capacity to supply mixed device portfolios.
