Description / Scope of Work
The Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, is inviting bids for the supply, fixation, commissioning and one-year maintenance of stationery, IT equipment, machinery and miscellaneous items. The tender encompasses a broad range of consumables and equipment as detailed in the enclosed list of quantities with technical specifications, dimensions, make and finishing requirements. All necessary accessories, materials and services required for supply, testing, commissioning and maintenance shall form an integral part of the scope of work. The successful bidder will be required to accept and fulfil all supply orders issued during the financial year 2026-2027 (ending 30 June 2027) within 10 days of receiving supply orders, with delivery and commissioning at the site.
Bidders must submit earnest money with their proposals and provide Income Tax and Sales Tax Registration Certificates. A 5% performance guarantee in the form of a CDR or bank guarantee from a scheduled bank is required, which will be released after satisfactory completion of the one-year warranty period. Offers that do not comply with terms and conditions, lack proper documentation, are unsigned, ambiguous, conditional, from blacklisted firms, or do not conform to specified items and requirements will be rejected. The Ministry reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning reasons.
Technical proposals will be opened first at a specified time and venue in the presence of bidders or their representatives, with financial proposals retained unopened until technical evaluation is complete. Bidders may submit partial or full quantity bids with rates quoted on an FOB basis including installation and commissioning. All rates must be inclusive of applicable taxes, with exemption certificates required if any items qualify for tax exemption. The tender document includes Annex-A for pricing furniture items with detailed specifications.
