Hybrid Classroom Audio-Visual & Video Conferencing System by LUMS

Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) invites sealed bids for the design, supply, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of a complete turnkey Hybrid Classroom Audio-Visual and Video Conferencing System. The tender, reference LUMS/291/2026, is for a sophisticated hybrid teaching solution that enables simultaneous participation of in-room and remote attendees through Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and other video conferencing platforms. The project scope encompasses dual reconfigurable classroom spaces with partitions that can operate in combined or decombined scenarios, designed to accommodate 25-30 far-site participants with HD video quality and professional audio. The procurement is based on a single-stage two-envelope bidding process with submission deadline of 28 July 2026 at 03:00 PM and opening at 03:30 PM the same day in Punjab.

Bidders must be OEM-authorized AV System Integrators with minimum 10 years' experience and five successfully completed similar projects. The proposed solution must include auto-tracking PTZ cameras for instructor and audience, professional wireless microphone systems with 15-17 boundary microphones and 5 lapel microphones, commercial-grade 4K displays (75-85 inch), professional DSP with acoustic echo cancellation, ceiling-mounted speakers with digital amplifiers, wireless presentation systems, centralized AV control processor with touch interface, and lecture recording capability. All equipment must support IP-based system management, automatic mixing, noise reduction, and Zoom/MS Teams integration with Mix-Minus configuration. Valid OEM Authorization Letters and compliance certifications are mandatory submission requirements.

Bidders must conduct detailed site surveys and requirement assessments before proposal submission, with all integration issues, omissions and additional components required for full functionality to be the sole responsibility of the vendor at no additional cost to LUMS. The complete solution includes cabling, conduits, civil work, installation, programming, testing, commissioning, user training, as-built documentation and minimum one-year comprehensive warranty.
