For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

World Bank is sourcing an individual consultant for flood resilience implementation under a Pakistan Meteorological Department project.

This is a specialized technical role requiring demonstrable expertise in flood risk management or disaster resilience—not a general services contract. The assignment appears medium-term, coordinating from Islamabad with the Deputy Project Director. Tight deadline (July 2026) and World Bank procurement standards suggest competitive field; individual consultants should verify technical qualification thresholds before investing EOI effort, as World Bank typically requires advanced degrees and 10+ years relevant experience.

Who can bid: Individual consultants eligible; must demonstrate professional expertise in flood resilience, disaster risk management, or related technical fields. Registration requirements not stated; typically Pakistani consultants require active NTN and SECP registration (if applicable). World Bank Individual Consultant Selection methodology applies—often requires bachelor's degree minimum, relevant experience, and no conflict of interest declarations.
