Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Committee Khanewal invites electronic bids from registered contractors, firms, manufacturers and authorized dealers for the procurement of items and arrangements required for the Celebration of Independence Day on 14 August 2026 in Khanewal, Punjab. The project covers comprehensive event management services including supply and installation of decorative structures, lighting systems, flags, sound equipment, generators, catering services and various other materials necessary for a successful national celebration. The estimated cost of the project is RS. 5,792,288 with a bid security requirement of RS. 289,614. The scope of work encompasses procurement and installation of ultra-large flex panels, ceremony backdrops, standard roadway banners, pole streamers, mounted flags, stitched national flags, flag hosting structures, hand flags, sound systems, SKV power generation with rental logs, mineral water supplies, catering services for guests, Aulshar light fixtures, digital graphics decoration lights, diesel generators and weather-resistant cutout monuments featuring national symbols and historical landmarks for display across designated public sites in the city.
Bidders must be registered with the relevant e-procurement system (e-PADS) and registered with FBR, PRA, ITIN and PNTN as applicable. All e-bids must be accompanied by a bid security of five percent of the estimated price. Bidders shall submit electronically through the Punjab e-procurement system in accordance with PPRA instructions. No physical bid security instruments will be accepted. The procurement follows single envelope bidding procedure with bids to be submitted in encrypted electronic file format as per e-PADS portal rules and requirements.
Complete e-bids must be submitted online on the e-Procurement System (EPADS) website at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk on or before 31 July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 AM. Bid documents are available on the PPRA website. Bidders are advised to check for any updates regarding bid submission prior to the deadline. The procuring agency may reject any or all bids prior to acceptance under Section 35 of the PPRA Rules 2014.
