Independence Day Celebrations 2026 Tentage, Lighting and Events by Municipal Committee Pakpattan

Municipal Committee Pakpattan invites electronic bids from registered contractors and service providers for the organization and execution of Independence Day celebrations in 2026. The project encompasses tentage and lighting arrangements on a rental basis, fireworks displays, refreshment services, flag hoisting ceremonies, flags, badges, caps, flaxes, banners, steamers, sound system installation, cable support, lime whitewashing, indoor sports program organization, and shooting volleyball match arrangements to mark Pakistan's Independence Day. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 45,00,000 (Forty Five Lakh Rupees), with the tender issued in Pakpattan, Punjab under the Single Stage Single Envelope (SSSE) procurement procedure in accordance with E-Procurement regulations 2024 and Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules, 2014.

Bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2026-27 and hold relevant registrations and tax compliance documentation including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Punjab Sales Tax certificates as applicable. All bids must be accompanied by bid security (earnest money) of Rs. 2,25,000 (Two Lakh Twenty Five Thousand Rupees Fixed) in the name of Municipal Committee Pakpattan in the form of a Crossing Demand Draft or equivalent bank instrument. Bids that are incomplete, unsigned, unstamped, late, or submitted through unauthorized channels will be rejected. If the lowest quoted rates exceed 5% of the estimated cost, the selected bidder must deposit additional performance security from the schedule bank as specified by the government.

Electronic bids must be submitted through the e-Procurement portal at http://ep.punjab.gov.pk by 01:00 PM on August 1, 2026, with opening scheduled for 02:00 PM on the same date. Bidders are required to register on the e-Portal before submission and should upload bids well before the deadline to avoid technical issues.
