The Institute of Business Administration Karachi invites quotations for Financial Consultancy Services to appoint a qualified and experienced Actuarial Valuator for comprehensive actuarial valuation of IBA's employee benefit schemes as of June 30, 2026. The engagement covers actuarial evaluation of Pension Scheme, Gratuity Scheme, and Leave Encashment Scheme in accordance with International Accounting Standard IAS 19 Employee Benefits. The valuation shall determine Present Value of Defined Benefit Obligation, Fair Value of Plan Assets, Actuarial Gains and Losses, Net Defined Benefit Liability or Asset, Current Service Cost, Interest Cost, and Past Service Cost. The scope is for one comprehensive valuation engagement with delivery at Stores, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh.

The selected bidder must be a qualified actuarial firm with expertise in employee benefit valuations compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards and applicable Pakistani laws. The valuator shall conduct the engagement using appropriate actuarial methodologies and reasonable assumptions consistent with prevailing market conditions. Coordination with IBA's Finance and HR Departments is required to obtain employee and financial data. The successful bidder shall provide technical support and attend meetings with management and external auditors during the audit process as needed.

Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi by 21 July 2026 at 10:00 AM. Deliverables include draft and final actuarial valuation reports, management summary, detailed calculations with Excel workings, soft copies in PDF and Excel format, and two hard copies of the final report.
