For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
This is a modest one-off civil works contract (est. cost ~Rs.15.9 million) for a single branch renovation, suited to small/medium local contractors with prior bank or commercial fit-out experience. The 45-day completion window is tight, requiring contractors to have ready mobilization capacity and material supply chains near Sialkot. Since it's a single branch job rather than a multi-site framework, repeat business depends on performance and BOP's future branch renovation cycles across Punjab.
Who can bid: The notice does not specify a PEC registration category or specific licensing requirement, but for bank branch renovation works, contractors typically need PEC registration (C-6 or higher, as applicable), an active NTN, GST registration, and relevant construction/renovation experience with similar commercial projects.
