For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
This is a modest-value annual supply contract (Rs. 6.5 million estimate) for lab and blood bank chemicals, typical of recurring hospital consumable procurements rather than a one-off large project. Suppliers already registered on Punjab's e-procurement portal with active tax status stand the best chance; smaller distributors of diagnostic reagents may find this an accessible entry point compared to bigger PESSI hospital tenders. Since it's single-envelope bidding, technical and financial evaluation happen together, so pricing must be competitive from the outset.
Who can bid: Bidders must have active Sales Tax and Income Tax registration and must not be blacklisted by PPRA or PESSI. The notice requires established technical, financial and managerial capability but does not specify further certifications; typically, medical/lab chemical suppliers also need drug sale license or relevant health authority registration for such items.
