Tender Details
Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Railways, through the office of the Divisional Superintendent/Workshop at Moghalpura, has invited sealed and online bids through the ePADS e-procurement portal for the supply of a large number of miscellaneous stores and technical items required for its operations and maintenance. The notice lists over thirty separate lots including items such as cables, copper conductors, bearings, gauges, hydrogen peroxide, valves, insulating materials, purge gas, brake rubber hoses, spectacle plates, and other engineering and workshop consumables, each carrying its own distinct tender number, tender closing time and tender opening time. The procurement is being carried out for the Pakistan Railways workshop located in Punjab.
Interested and eligible suppliers, manufacturers and vendors registered with the relevant tax and regulatory authorities may participate in the bidding process. Bidders are required to submit their offers strictly in accordance with the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure prescribed under the Public Procurement Rules 2004, ensuring that technical and financial proposals are submitted separately as per the standard PPRA bidding format. Only firms registered on the eSTORE/ePADS portal are eligible to participate, and bids must be uploaded online within the stipulated tender closing time for each item.
Bidding documents, detailed specifications and terms of delivery for each lot can be obtained and submitted through the ePADS online portal, with bids to be opened publicly at the times specified against each tender number. Prospective bidders may contact Engr. Muhammad Abdus Salam, CCPW, for the Divisional Superintendent/Workshop, Pakistan Railways, Moghalpura, at telephone 042-99250XX for further clarification, document verification and procedural queries before the respective closing dates.
For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
This is a bulk, multi-lot railway stores tender covering more than thirty distinct small-value items rather than a single large contract, meaning bidders can selectively quote for individual lots matching their trade specialty (electrical cables, rubber goods, hydrogen chemicals, bearings etc.) rather than committing to the whole package. The staggered closing and opening times per lot suggest a rolling procurement cycle typical of railway workshop replenishment, favoring SMEs and traders who can supply specific technical or engineering consumables rather than large infrastructure contractors.
Who can bid: Eligibility typically requires NTN/GST registration, active status on the ePADS/eSTORE portal, and compliance with PPRA Single Stage Two Envelope bidding procedures; PEC registration is not applicable as this is a goods/stores supply tender rather than construction works.
