Description / Scope of Work

The Irrigation Multan Zone invites sealed bids for the award of a 324-day toll collection contract at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage commencing from 11 August 2026 to 30 June 2027 in Punjab. The revised reserve price for the year 2026-27 has been approved at Rs 28,658,439, as determined by the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Multan Zone, vide notification dated 30 June 2026. This is a recurring annual contract for toll collection rights with all associated revenue and operational responsibilities transferred to the successful bidder.

Eligible persons, firms and contractors must furnish earnest money in the form of Cash Deposit Receipt (CDR) at 5% of the reserve price. Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, Mailsi Syphon Division Thingi, until 7 August 2026 during office hours. Applicants must submit attested copies of CNIC, specimen signature, and Power of Attorney in case of a firm or registered entity alongside the bid documents application.

Sealed bids accompanied by earnest money as CDR must be submitted to the office of the Executive Engineer, Mailsi Syphon Division Thingi, on 8 August 2026 up to 12:00 PM, and will be opened at 12:30 PM on the same day in the presence of bidders and their authorized representatives. The bid amount will be payable in twelve monthly installments along with applicable taxes in advance. All expenses for provision, operation and maintenance of facilities remain the lessee's responsibility with no deductions permitted from the bid amount.
