Description / Scope of Work
The Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Kahuta, under the Health and Population Department of the Government of the Punjab, invites electronic bids for a framework contract to purchase X-ray films and radiology items for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is valued at PKR 2,000,000 (two million rupees) and covers the supply of specified radiology consumables and materials required for the hospital's diagnostic imaging operations in Kahuta, Punjab. The contract is intended to ensure continuous availability of essential X-ray and radiology supplies throughout the year.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the electronic procurement portal (ep.punjab.gov.pk), maintain an active taxpayer status with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and provide valid NTN and Sales Tax registration certificates. A bid security of two percent of the estimated cost, in the form of a CDR, pay order, or demand draft from a scheduled bank of Pakistan payable to MS THQ Hospital Kahuta, is mandatory. Bidders must not be blacklisted by the procuring agency and should have a sound financial background. Government-owned enterprises may participate only if legally and financially autonomous and operating under commercial law.
Bidding documents are available free of cost from www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and ep.punjab.gov.pk until the closing date of 5 August 2026 at 10:00 AM. Bids must be submitted electronically only through ep.punjab.gov.pk with supporting documents including NTN and Sales Tax certificates uploaded prior to the opening date. The Procurement Committee will open bids on 5 August 2026 at 10:30 AM in the office of the Medical Superintendent at THQ Hospital Kahuta.
