Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Punjab through the Poultry Research Institute, Rawalpindi invites pre-qualification applications from poultry feed manufacturers and authorized dealers registered with relevant registration and tax authorities to participate in procurement of poultry feeds. The tender covers supply of approximately 300,000 bags (each bag of 50 kg) with an estimated cost of Rs. 130 million on a framework contract basis. The supplied feeds will be distributed to Government Poultry Farms located throughout Punjab including Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Multan, Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, Dina, Gujrat, Attock, Mianwali, Bahawalunagar, Rawalpindi, Ghulaman (Bhakkar), Governor House Lahore and any other Government Poultry Farms opened during the financial year 2026-27 under the administrative control of the Directorate of Poultry Research Institute. The supply is on F.O.R (Freight On Road) basis to be delivered in the form of Crumbs and Pellets.
Eligible applicants must be registered with relevant authorities and tax departments (Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Punjab Sales Tax). The pre-qualification will be based on good reputation, relevant experience, past performance, capabilities with respect to feed plant and storage facilities, financial position and taxation documents. Only technical proposals will be considered for pre-qualification. All assessments and procurement procedures shall be governed by the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules 2014 (amended up to date) and e-Procurement provisions. All applicable taxes as per Government of Punjab rules will apply to selected suppliers.

Pre-qualification documents must be submitted online through the Punjab e-Procurement System (eP) portal by 05 August 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM at the Poultry Research Institute, Shamsabad, Murree Road, Rawalpindi.
