Local Purchase of Medicines and Disposable Surgical Items by THQ Hospital Chichawatni

Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Chichawatni invites sealed bids from eligible firms and agencies for the local purchase of medicines and disposable surgical items for the financial year 2026-2027, with scope for extension of three months from July to September 2027. The estimated contract value is PKR 9,000,000 and covers supply of pharmaceutical products and medical consumables to the hospital facility located in Chichawatni, Punjab. Bidding will be conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System under Single Stage-Two Envelope procedures as specified in the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 amended to March 2021.

Bidders must be involved in institutional pharmacy business, chain pharmacies, distributors or medical stores with a valid Retail Drug Sale License issued by the relevant drug control authority. The pharmacy must be located within Sahiwal District as per the Latest Local Purchase Guidelines 2026. A bid security of 2 percent of the estimated amount must be submitted online via 1Link in the form of CDR, Pay Order or Demand Draft from a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan. Bidders are required to provide CNIC copy, Sale Tax and Income Tax registration certificates, bank statements for one to two years, pharmacist registration certificate in Category-A, experience certificates from public institutions, and an affidavit confirming the firm is not blacklisted and has not violated the Drug Act 1976 or DRAP Act 2012.

Bidding documents are available for download from the e-Procurement Punjab website and the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority portal at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted via the Punjab e-Procurement System with closure on 06 August 2026 at 09:00 AM and opening at 09:30 AM the same day at the office of the Medical Superintendent. Separate bids will be evaluated for multinational company medicines, national company medicines, and disposable surgical items based on maximum discount from retail price.
