Extension of Interview Shade at Central Prison & Camp Facility, Hyderabad – 12 Months

The Project Management Unit of the Prisons Department, Sindh, invites sealed tenders for the extension of interview shade facilities at Central Prison and Camp Office in Hyderabad. The project is to be completed within a 12-month period and requires a bid security of 5 percent. Eligible contractors and companies are invited to submit bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (ePADS) in accordance with S.P.P Rules 2010 as amended. This procurement is open to contractors and firms with relevant field experience and appropriate registration categories seeking to undertake high-security prison infrastructure works in Hyderabad, Sindh.

To participate, bidders must hold a valid CNIC for proprietors or partners, current Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration up to June 2027 in an appropriate specialization category, and be listed as an active taxpayer with the Federal Board of Revenue or Sindh Revenue Board. Applicants must demonstrate at least five years of similar construction experience with satisfactory completion certificates, maintain average annual financial turnover equivalent to the project cost, provide bank statements for the last five years showing a minimum 20 percent available balance, submit comprehensive equipment and machinery lists, and possess a valid Labour Registration Certificate. A performance or completion certificate for recent similar works with six colored photographs is mandatory.

Sealed tenders with a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 5,000 and bid security in the form of a call deposit must be submitted through ePADS before 13-08-2026 at 09:15 A.M., with original documents submitted by hand to the Project Director at Camp Office Central Prison, Karachi. Technical bids will be opened on the same date at 09:45 A.M. The bid validity period is 90 days. Original tender fee, bid security and e-stamping affidavits must accompany submissions. In case of postponement, the next submission and opening dates are 28-08-2026 with the same times.
