Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL), operating under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, is inviting reinsurance coverage tenders for its non-marine catastrophe insurance program and two top layers of treaties for the 2026-2027 period. This corrigendum amends the submission and opening timelines for the Main Program and Top Layer tender components. The procurement encompasses reinsurance treaty placements for non-marine catastrophe exposure, a critical component of PRCL's risk management and capital protection strategy. The tender was originally advertised on the EPADS portal (references PS3087, PS2084 and PS2036), PRCL and PPRA websites, and in The News and Daily Express newspapers dated 25 June 2026 under PID K No. 3963/25.
The amended bidding timeline specifies separate submission and opening schedules for the Top Layer and Main Program components. Tender submissions for the Top Layer are due 29 July 2026 at 11:00 AM with opening at 11:30 AM, while Main Program submissions close at 11:00 AM with opening at 11:30 AM on the same date. The corrigendum revises the bid validity period from the previously stated 60 days to "Till Inception Date" for all tender components including Top Layer, Main Program, and Private Layer, aligning validity with the treaty inception timeline.
