Description / Scope of Work
The Communication and Works Department, 1st Buildings Division, Lahore invites bids for the replacement and installation of lifts in the Emergency and Opiate Block of Services Hospital, Lahore. The project scope includes provision of two No-Red lifts with 1500 kg capacity and 14 No-passenger lift capacity of 1000 kg each. The estimated project cost is Rs 43,500,000 with earnest money deposit of Rs 2,875,000. This procurement is for the financial year 2026-27 and is restricted to specialized firms authorized as dealers or distributors of approved brands including Mitsubishi Japan, Schindler Spain, Doppler Greece/Western Europe, Socimas France/Western Europe, Otis USA, Girona Spain, IDEM Spain, Express UK, LGV Italy, Kone Finland, and Thyssen Germany. Bidders must hold valid certificates of dealership authenticated by the relevant Embassy of the country of origin.
Bidders are required to register on the Punjab e-Procurement System (PPRA-developed platform) to participate. The contractor must produce original PEC licenses with required specialization codes, and conditional bids without earnest money will be rejected. Earnest money must be submitted as a CDR bank draft or Cashier's cheque of 5% of estimated DNT cost, payable to the Executive Engineer, 1st Building Division Lahore. All bids must include Power of Attorney authorization and be signed and stamped by authorized representatives.
Bid documents containing detailed technical and financial specifications are available on the Punjab e-Procurement System portal at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk. The last date for submission of technical and financial bids is 12 August 2026 at 11:00 AM on the website. Technical bids will be opened on the same date and time at the office of the Commissioner, Lahore Division, in the presence of bidders and their authorized representatives. Financial bid opening will occur after technical bid evaluation. All tender documents must be submitted through the e-Procurement System; manual bids will not be accepted.
