Description / Scope of Work
Shah Bhitai Government Hospital Latifabad, Hyderabad invites electronic bids through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposable System (EPADS) for the supply of medicines (15% local purchase), specific consumables including X-ray films, generic consumables for laboratory items, dietary items, life-saving medical supplies and other petty miscellaneous items for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is advertised under Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Rule 46(1) using a Single Stage Single Envelope procedure. Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions and specifications can be viewed and downloaded from the official EPADS portal at https://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk. The hospital is located in Hyderabad, Sindh province.
Eligible bidders must be suppliers, firms, manufacturers, importers or authorised distributors registered on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue or Sindh Revenue Board as applicable. Prospective bidders are required to register themselves on the EPADS system at https://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk/supplier/registration for submission of electronic bids. The bid security requirement is 2.5% of the bid price in the form of an original instrument such as a bank guarantee or pay order. A tender fee of Rs. 2,000 is payable for each of the four items separately: medicines and consumables, dietary items, petty articles, and life-saving medical supplies.
Electronic bids must be submitted through EPADS only from the date of newspaper publication until 20 August 2026 at 12:00 noon. The original tender fee and bid security must reach the procuring agency before the deadline. Bids will be opened on the same day at 12:30 PM at the Office of the Medical Superintendent, Shah Bhitai Government Hospital, Latifabad, Hyderabad.
