For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

FESCO is procuring 600 units of 100-KVA distribution transformers across two lots in a two-part bid. Bidders must have active WAPDA/PPMC approval with Category M-1 registration and valid prototypes—barriers to entry are substantial. The August 2026 deadline offers reasonable preparation time. This appears to be a one-off procurement for infrastructure replacement or expansion in Faisalabad's distribution network, typical of recurring utility equipment needs but evaluated as specific-quantity purchase.
Who can bid: Bidders must be WAPDA or PPMC approved manufacturers, pre-qualified and registered in Category M-1, with valid prototypes registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and listed as Active Taxpayers by the Federal Board of Revenue. Manufacturers must quote in Pakistani rupees excluding foreign exchange element.
