Description / Scope of Work
The PMU GEPCO (Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited) invites electronic bids from registered and prequalified firms for procurement of electrical equipment planned for FY 2026-27. The procurement comprises two tenders: NCB-STG-6 for 11kV Current Transformers (CTs) in multiple ranges (1200-2400/5A, 200-400/5/5A, 300-600/5A) totalling 36 units and 11kV Potential Transformers (PTs) 1000/100 of 9 units; and NCB-STG-7 for Station Battery 110V 150 AH with 55 cells, quantity 52 units. Free delivery to GEPCO Warehouse Wazirabad is required. The procurement is conducted without any foreign exchange element and is funded under reserved government allocation for electrical utility expansion.
Eligible bidders must be registered or prequalified with DISCOs, NGC, WAPDA, GENCOS or PPMC as authorized dealers, manufacturers or suppliers. All equipment must be type-tested by designated laboratories as specified in NTDC Type Test Policy 2023; undertakings to conduct fresh tests are not accepted. Bids must include valid, complete type test reports from approved laboratories. Bid security is required: PKR 0.175 million for NCB-STG-6 and PKR 2.560 million for NCB-STG-7, submissible as pay order, banker's cheque, call deposit, bank guarantee or demand draft. Bidders must have average annual turnover of PKR 7.0 million (NCB-STG-6) and PKR 102.245 million (NCB-STG-7) for the last three years. Bids must remain valid for 150 days; bid guarantee validity must extend 28 days beyond bid validity.
E-bidding documents are available on EPADS v2.0 at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 on or before tender opening date. Electronic bids open on 21 August 2026 at 11:00 AM (NCB-STG-6) and 11:05 AM (NCB-STG-7). Bid prices must include GST and all applicable duties and taxes. Original bid guarantee must be submitted in a sealed envelope with tender number and title to the undersigned office by submission deadline; a copy accompanies the technical proposal in the e-bid. Delivery period is 120 days from purchase order issuance. All tender conditions must be fulfilled; conditional bids, late submissions and bids without required guarantee are rejected.
