Maintenance and repair of KPT tower at East Wharf by Karachi Port Trust

Karachi Port Trust, the gateway authority managing Pakistan's primary seaport in Sindh, invites tenders for maintenance and repair works on the KPT tower located at East Wharf. The project scope encompasses providing and fixing fiber shed, replacement of UPVC door, providing and fixing wooden cabinet or almirahs, grinding and polishing of marble floor, PVC wall paneling, providing and fixing work station of PVC foam board, replacement of wooden door and frame, providing and fixing SRC pillar blocks, and other miscellaneous works. The bid security amount is fixed at Rs 300,000 in the form of Pay Order in the name of Chief Accounts Officer KPT. Tender documents are invited through E-PADS (Version 2.0) by the Chief Engineer KPT. The tender notice specifies that bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-6 and above with specified code CC-09, CE-90, valid on the date of tender opening. Interested bidders are required to register themselves on the E-PADS platform and submit their bids online using the prescribed tender fees of Rs 5,000 non-refundable in the form of Pay Order to the Chief Accounts Officer KPT. All mandatory documents including valid PEC registration certificates, SECP certificate or valid CNIC, online tax verification, financial statements, and audited accounts must be submitted at the time of bid opening. The bid opening is scheduled to take place in the Committee Room of the Civil Works Department on the specified date.
