Large infrastructure package (~Rs 131M) for construction near Chashma involving a public sector entity.
This is a re-tender following failed competitive bidding, suggesting either scope complexity or previous bid failures warrant attention. 15-month execution timeline is substantial but not aggressive. Notable requirement: pre-qualification and security clearance are mandatory gatekeepers—bidders without prior PSO clearance face barriers. One-off project with fixed scope.
Who can bid: Must be pre-qualified by the organization and possess valid security clearance—these are non-negotiable requirements stated explicitly. PEC category for civil works contractors typically required. NTN/SECP registration typically expected but not explicitly stated. Unlisted contractors may participate if meeting pre-qualification criteria, distinguishing this from standard open tenders.
