Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority invites electronic bids for the construction of a steel overhead/pedestrian bridge at Lala Sehrai Chowk in Jahanian City on National Highway N-5A, located at kilometer 54-55. This is a bridge and culvert structural maintenance work contract with an estimated cost of Rs. 28,336,124. The project is issued by the Punjab-South Region, Central Zone office of the National Highway Authority under the Ministry of Communications, Government of Pakistan, with contract reference BS-PS-2025-26-5A-01.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department and included on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue. They must hold valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-5 and above with specialization in CE-01 and CE-10 (civil engineering disciplines covering bridge and structural design and construction). All participating firms are required to obtain EPADS (PPRA) registration at www.eprocure.gov.pk, as manual hard-copy bids will be eliminated in upcoming procurements. The procurement method is Single Stage-Two Envelopes.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, and method of procurement are available free of charge from August 10, 2026 on the NHA website at www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted to NHA Complex, Nag Shah Chowk, Multan on or before August 25, 2026 at 1130 hours. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 1200 hours in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
