Description / Scope of Work
The Chief Minister's Office, Punjab invites pre-qualification bids from bidders, firms, sole proprietors, companies, vendors and workshops for repair and maintenance work of official vehicles in the transport pool for the financial year 2026-27. This is a pre-qualification tender under PPRA Rules 2014 (Amended) for Lahore-based operations. The pre-qualification tenure is for one financial year and may be extended thereafter with approval of the Competent Authority. Financial bids will be called only from firms that successfully complete the pre-qualification process. The procurement is scheduled with submission deadline on 25 August 2026 at 11:00 AM and document opening at 11:30 AM the same day.
Eligible firms must have a proper workshop setup manned with experienced mechanics, technicians and workers specializing in Toyota, Suzuki, Corolla, Honda and other vehicle makes. The workshop must employ at least one higher qualified and experienced person heading the mechanical team, be equipped with modern maintenance and repair equipment (both minor and major), and provide preventive maintenance including oil changes, denting, painting, engine overhauls, brake work, battery inspection, air conditioning service, suspension work, tyre services, wheel alignment and balancing. Readily available spare parts, lubricants, consumables, field mechanic services and vehicle towing facilities are mandatory. A security deposit of Rs.100,000 (Rupees One Lac) as Pay Order, Bank Draft or Call Deposit must be submitted in favour of Section Officer (Administration), Chief Minister's Office, Punjab, Lahore before the e-bid submission deadline. Cash and cheques are not acceptable.
Bidders must submit complete applications without overwriting or cutting. Responses will be evaluated against published Assessment Criteria and firms must secure 70 percent overall score for pre-qualification. All mandatory requirements must be met or the bid will be cancelled immediately. Evaluation will assess quality, delivery, after-sales services, credit terms and contractual compliance during the contract period. The Competent Authority reserves the right to seek clarifications, accept or reject any response, or cancel the process at any stage without providing reasons.
