Description / Scope of Work
Horticulture Agency Faisalabad invites bids from experienced firms specializing in mechanical tree transplantation for the shifting and transplantation of 795 trees of various species located on the green belt along Airport Chowk Jhang Road in Faisalabad. The project covers the Metro Bus Route corridor from Airport Chowk to Tariqabad within Faisalabad City, Punjab. The estimated contract value is Rs. 18.965 million with a completion period of one month. The scope includes large trees (16 feet and above, 75 units), medium trees (12 to 16 feet, 479 units), and small trees (5 to 12 feet, 241 units) comprising species such as Terminalia, Wall Palm, Gold Mohar, Date Palm, Neem, Peepal, and others. The contractor must provide all machinery, equipment, labor, transportation, and technical expertise required for successful tree relocation.
Bidders must meet strict eligibility requirements including valid legal status (Certificate of Incorporation from SECP for companies, CNIC and affidavit for sole proprietors, or partnership deed for firms), active NTN registration with current income tax status, valid GST and PST registration, and professional tax certificates. Critical mandatory documents include notarized affidavits on Rs. 1,250 non-judicial stamp paper confirming authorization, understanding of all terms and conditions, and acceptance of legal and financial liability. Bidders must own or possess the required equipment: Mechanical Tree Transplanter Machine, Hydraulic Crane, Excavator, Water Bowser, Loader, and Transportation Vehicles. Previous Work Satisfactory Certificates from relevant departments and Company Account Maintenance Certificates from banks are required. The bid security is Rs. 0.379 million (2% of estimated cost) and must be submitted as original instrument (CDR or Pay Order) with scanned copy uploaded on EPS before the closing date.
Bids are submitted through EPS Punjab under a Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure. The closing date and time for bid submission is 27 October 2026 at 12:00 PM, with Technical Bids opening at 12:30 PM on the same date. Financial Bids opening will be communicated after technical bid evaluation. Bid documents must be properly annexed with a table of contents, headings, and page numbers. Failure to provide any mandatory document results in automatic disqualification. Interested bidders should submit complete documentation including the original bid security instrument to the office of the undersigned before the deadline.
