Description / Scope of Work
The Government of the Punjab, Planning & Development Department, South Punjab, Bahawalpur is inviting sealed bids from reputable and registered firms for hiring of security services under a framework contract for the fiscal year 2026-27. The estimated contract value is PKR 1.863 million. Eligible bidders must possess valid income tax and sales tax registration along with demonstrated capability to provide comprehensive security services. The procurement will be conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (as amended). This is a framework agreement for recurring security service provision throughout the fiscal year.
Bidders must be registered with the relevant tax authorities and hold current income and sales tax certificates. A bid security of 2 percent of the estimated price is required, payable as a CDR, Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Banker's Cheque from a scheduled bank of Pakistan in favour of the Section Officer (General), P&D Department, South Punjab, Bahawalpur. All quotations must be submitted excluding GST. Incomplete bids, those not properly sealed, signed and stamped, or submitted through non-compliant modes will be rejected outright.
Bidding documents are available on the Punjab e-Procurement System at www.ep.punjab.gov.pk and www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Sealed bids must be uploaded electronically on or before 21 August 2026 at 11:00am, with scanned bid security and original documentation submitted to the Section Officer (General), Planning & Development Department, South Punjab, Bahawalpur.
