Pakistan State Oil Company Limited invites quotations for painting works services at its Fuel Farm Facility located in Karachi, Sindh. The scope encompasses three distinct painting categories totalling approximately 15,890 square metres: matt paint application in conference rooms (130 M2 with primer and two coats), weathershield paint for tanks, boundary walls, old building and service tanks (10,200 M2 with primer and three coats), and water-based matt paint for office, LT and HT rooms, fire pump room, grinder and SG room (5,560 M2 with primer and two coats). The contractor must possess the capability to provide complete surface preparation including dust and contaminant removal, scraping of deteriorated paint, wire brushing, sanding, crack and hole repair using approved putty, plaster repair, and protection of adjacent equipment and installations from paint splashes. Approved paint brands include Berger or Gobis or equivalent approved by PSO. All painted surfaces must achieve uniform colour, texture and finish with no brush marks, roller marks, runs, sags, peeling, blistering or patchiness. Each coat requires adequate drying time before subsequent application. Finished work is subject to inspection and approval by PSO representatives.
