The Tehsil Municipal Administration Lachi invites sealed tenders through the E-PAK Acquisition and Disposal System (ePADS) for maintenance and repair of transformers at Tehsil Lachi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The estimated cost of work is 5.0 million rupees under the District Development Plan 2022-23. The tender is open to government contractors enlisted with the Local Council Board, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, KPPRA, and PEC in the relevant category with valid registration and enlistment renewal for the financial year 2025-26. Bidders must obtain tender documents from the ePADS website from the date of newspaper advertisement and submit sealed bids by 8 September 2026 at 1:00 PM, with tender opening scheduled for 2:00 PM on the same date.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security deposit equal to two percent of the estimated cost in the form of call deposit or TMO/TMA Lachi call deposit of scheduled banks. Bidders quoting up to 10 percent below the engineer's estimate shall submit bid security at two percent of the engineering estimate only. Contractors quoting between 10 and 20 percent below shall submit an additional eight percent security of the engineers' estimated cost along with their bid. Bids quoted more than 20 percent below the estimate require detailed rate analysis and additional security equal to the differential amount of submitted bid and engineers' estimate, or the bid will be considered non-responsive and forfeited.
Tender documents are available through the ePADS website, and sealed bids must be sent through registered mail or courier services. The tender will be processed according to the above/below system based on Market Rate System 2025. All federal and provincial taxes including stamp duty and other applicable taxes are recoverable as per government directives issued from time to time. Specialization codes EE03, EE05, EE07, EE08, and EE010 are mandatory for maintenance and repair of transformers as per Local PESCO Approved Workshop standards.
