Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General of Archaeology, Government of Punjab, Tourism, Archaeology & Museums Department, is inviting electronic bids for a framework contract to design, develop and deploy heritage interpretation systems using advanced visualization infrastructure including augmented reality, virtual reality and projection mapping technologies. The contract is valued at 40.00 million Pakistani rupees with a duration of one year. The primary site selected for this project is Derawar Fort in Bahawalpur, Punjab, where these immersive visualization systems will enhance visitor experience and heritage interpretation at this significant archaeological location.
Bidders must be registered firms, companies, sole proprietors or service providers actively engaged in the design and preparation of AR/VR and projection mapping solutions, with valid registration from relevant authorities including income tax, sales tax and Punjab sales tax registration. The earnest money deposit required is 5 percent of the estimated contract cost, and bidders must submit a certified deposit receipt or bank guarantee in favor of the Director General Archaeology. All bids must be complete and submitted through the official e-procurement portal; incomplete proposals will be rejected as non-responsive.
Electronic bids comprising technical and financial envelopes must be submitted online at www.Punjab.eprocure.gov.pk according to the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure outlined in clause 38 of PPRA Rules 2014 (amended). The original earnest money instrument must be physically delivered to the office of the Director General Archaeology, 60-A Garden Block, Garden Town, Lahore, on or before the bid opening time.
