The GE (Navy) Construction Manora invites pre-qualification applications from contractors and firms for two furniture supply contracts under the PPRA Rules 2004, Clauses 13, 15 and 16. The first contract concerns provision of furniture for the construction of Children School Manora valued at 1.624 million rupees. The second contract involves provision of furniture for construction of 02 CPOs (Composite Personnel Officers accommodations) in Block No. 31 and 32 (G+3, totalling 08 flats) at Sabir SRE Karachi, valued at 1.100 million rupees. Both works are located in Sindh province. Applications must be received by 13 August 2026, with bid submission and opening scheduled for 27 August 2026 at 12:00 AM.
Firms and contractors must be enlisted with MES in unlimited category or possess equivalent experience from other Government Departments for similar work to be eligible. Applicants not enrolled with MES must submit detailed information including executed work during the last two years, employing agency, contract value, time allowed in months, date of actual completion, percentage of progress, and departmental performance reports from the Divisional Engineer or XEN. Non-MES contractors must deposit earnest money in Government Treasury or schedule bank of Pakistan in favour of GE (Navy) Construction Manora, with bank receipts submitted alongside applications. Upon acceptance, non-MES contractors shall deposit 300,000 rupees as security as demanded by the accepting officer.
Bid documents should be obtained from the office specified by GE (Navy) Construction Manora. Earnest money will be refunded if tenders are rejected after return of all issued documents. MES-enlisted contractors must furnish lists of moveable and immoveable assets, personnel details, machinery and equipment information, bank statements, GST registration, NTN certificates and other prescribed documentation. The accepting officer reserves the right to reject any or all applications under PPRA Rule 33 (Para 2004). Incomplete applications will not be entertained. Contractors suspended from the MES approved list must deposit 5 percent of estimated cost or bid amount as additional security in prescribed instruments, refundable only if the contract is awarded.
