Description / Scope of Work
Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the procurement of complete hybrid solar systems under tender reference 08/Normal/2026-27. The scope includes supply of two solar system configurations: 5 KVA complete hybrid system and 10 KVA complete hybrid system, each comprising solar panels, hybrid inverters, lithium-ion batteries, structural frames, earthing systems, connectors, breakers, cables, and related installation components. The procurement is planned within the current financial year either in full or in part at the Central Ordnance Depot's facilities at Fort Road, Rawalpindi, Punjab. Quantities may be amended or decreased at the time of order placement.
Bidders must be Original Equipment Manufacturers, authorized agents or distributors registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments on the Active Taxpayer List of the Federal Board of Revenue, and registered with the Directorate General of Defense Purchase or Directorate General Procurement-Army. Bid security equal to five percent of the estimated bid value must be deposited within five working days of invitation. All bidders are bound by the Official Secret Act to ensure confidentiality of bids and security equipment details.
Bids submitted in two separate sealed envelopes—one for technical proposal and one for financial proposal—must be delivered before 1030 hours on 28 August 2026 to the Local Purchase Office at COD Rawalpindi, Fort Road, Rawalpindi. Bid opening will occur on the same date at 1100 hours in the Conference Room with bidder representatives present.
