Description / Scope of Work
AJ&K Power Development Organization Muzaffarabad invites sealed bids from reputed firms and companies with relevant experience in manufacturing and repairing of Francis turbine and their parts for the Kel Kalalote Power Station in Neelum Valley, AJK. The scope of work encompasses manufacturing, repairing, installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical parts of Francis turbine with capacity 250kW. Bidding will follow the single stage single envelope procedure under AJK PPRA Rules. The tender document containing detailed specifications, drawings and scope of work is available from the office of the undersigned upon submission of a bank draft of Rs. 10,000 in favor of MD AJK PDO.
Bidders must be PEC-registered firms or companies with their own workshop facility for manufacturing, repairing, installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical parts of Francis turbines. Applicants must provide documentary proof of successfully completing two similar jobs or works. Materials used for repairing or manufacturing must conform to relevant IEC standards. Bids without a Caution Deposit Receipt (CDR) of Rs. 9,000 in the form of pay order or bank draft in favor of Dy. Director (O&M) AJK Power Development Organization Muzaffarabad will be rejected. Black-listed firms, companies, suppliers, distributors, contractors or bidders are prohibited from participation. All bidders must furnish an affidavit or certificate confirming they are neither black-listed nor in conflict with Government anywhere in the territory of AJK, Federally Administrated Areas or Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Sealed bids can be submitted on or before 11:30 HRS on 28-08-2026 and will be opened the same day at 12:00 HRS in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives in the office of the undersigned. All taxes shall be deducted from invoices or bills as per prevailing rules enforced in AJK. The Procuring agency reserves the right to reject any bid as per AJK PPRA Rules. Bids received after the due date and time shall not be entertained.
