Printing of Electricity Consumer Bills by AJK Electricity Department

The AJK Electricity Department invites sealed bids from income tax or sales tax registered firms for printing of electricity consumer bills and allied reports at its four computer centers located in Muzaffarabad, Rawalkote, Kotli, and Mirpur in AJK. The work will be executed on a per-copy cost basis, with the successful bidder responsible for providing all necessary equipment, materials, and resources including printing machines, toner, maintenance kits, and related hardware. The AJK Electricity Department will supply only the bill forms and allied stationery for MIS reporting. This is a service-oriented procurement with nationwide scope across multiple centers in the state.

Eligible bidders must be registered with income tax or sales tax authorities and are required to submit bid security of Rs. 500,000 under section 25 of AJ&K PPRA Rules 2017 in the form of CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft. The bid security validity must not be less than 150 days from the opening date, and rate validity should not be less than 120 days. Black-listed firms, companies, suppliers, distributors, contractors, or bidders are prohibited from participation, and all bidders must furnish an affidavit or certificate confirming they are neither blacklisted nor in conflict with any government entity in AJK, federally administered areas, or the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Bidding documents are available from the office of the Director General Commercial Electricity, Muzaffarabad until 20-08-2026 during office hours upon written request and payment of Rs. 3,000 in cash (non-refundable). Sealed bids must reach the undersigned office on or before 10:30 AM on 21-08-2026 and will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives. Rates should be quoted inclusive of General Sales Tax and all other prevailing taxes in AJ&K with installation and support services.
