Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate of Agriculture Extension, Gilgit-Region invites sealed bids from qualified suppliers and firms for the supply of seven categories of items and services for the Deputy Director IPM office under Regular, Development and ETI budgets for the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement covers IPM pesticides, chemicals, tools, machinery and laboratory consumables; printing and publicity materials for training seminars and workshops; catering services including lunch and high tea for training events and conferences; office and laboratory equipment, office supplies and miscellaneous items; office stationery; furniture and fixtures; and repair or spare parts for vehicles and agricultural machinery. This multi-category procurement is issued by the Gilgit-Baltistan agricultural authority to support integrated pest management operations and institutional capacity-building in the region.
Bidders must possess relevant experience of at least two years with a completion certificate for similar nature of work. Each bid must be accompanied by 3% of the total offered rates as bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt issued by scheduled banks or KCBL in favour of the Deputy Director Agriculture. Suppliers are required to quote rates for all items; bids omitting any item will be considered non-responsive. Unrealistic rates (over or under-estimated costs) will be rejected immediately. The procurement follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure where only technically qualified bidders will have their financial bids opened. Conditional quotations and bids submitted without call deposit or after the deadline will not be entertained.
Tender documents containing full item specifications, services details and terms and conditions can be obtained during office hours on or before 31st August 2026 at 10:00 AM from the Office of the Deputy Director Agriculture, IPM Gilgit. Sealed bids must clearly mention the lot or item number and name on the envelope. Tenders will be opened on 31st August 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same office. All bidders should ensure compliance with the specific terms and conditions and submit complete documentation to avoid rejection.
