Description / Scope of Work
The Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology invites electronic bids from eligible suppliers for the procurement of plant and machinery to meet the operational requirements of RIC Rawalpindi and NSCC Samli Murree under the financial year 2026-27. This annual tender, referenced as RIC/PO/356/26 and dated 11 August 2026, is issued under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024. Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant tax departments of the Government of Pakistan. A bid security of two percent of the estimated cost of quoted items or lots must be provided in the form of Bank Draft, Bank Guarantee, Call Deposit Receipt, Demand Draft, Pay Order, or Banker's cheque made payable to Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology. Bid security shall be submitted through PSID on the E-Procurement System. Item quotations must include both brand names and generic names in both technical and financial proposals. Bid validity is 180 days from the date of bid opening. Hard copies of e-bids are not required; all submissions must be made electronically.
Electronic bids must be submitted on or before 29 August 2026 at 10:00 AM on the Punjab E-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. Bids will be opened on the same day at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives at the Purchase Office of RIC Rawalpindi. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 22 August 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Purchase Office of RIC Rawalpindi; minutes will be uploaded within two days and considered as an addendum to bidding documents.
