Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi invites quotations for dampa ceiling works at its City Campus in Karachi, Sindh under RFQ-003947. The project involves installation of aluminium perforated dampa ceiling panels at Aman Tower 3rd Floor and Faysal Building Class Room Entrance Corridors at IBA City Campus. The scope comprises removal of existing dampa ceiling panels including frames across approximately 200 square feet in four rooms, provision and fixing of new 0.6–0.8 mm thick powder-coated aluminium panels (DOUGLAS or approved equivalent) in 600×600 mm square and 300×1200 mm linear configurations with black acoustic fleece backing, and complete installation of G.I T&L angle framework, plumb rods, hanger clips, jointing clips and G.I wire suspended from structural ceiling. The work also includes refixing of existing available HVAC panels in their original positions. Eight percent Sales and Service Tax is applicable.
Contractors must possess appropriate experience in dampa ceiling installation and be prepared for site inspection scheduled for Tuesday, 18 August 2026 at 11:00 AM at IBA City Campus. The quotation must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi by 20 August 2026 at 11:00 AM. Material shall be subject to final inspection upon delivery, and IBA reserves the right to cancel orders if materials do not conform to specifications or delivery is delayed. Liquidity damage at 2% per month will be imposed on delayed delivery. Government taxes, levies and charges will be assessed as per applicable SRO rates, with stamp duty at 0.35% for goods applied against total purchase order value.

Payment shall be made through crossed cheque following receipt of invoice and delivery of items. Advance payment is subject to bank guarantee. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning reason, and to award items to different lowest responsive bidders or modify quantities as deemed necessary.
