Description / Scope of Work
The Food Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites expressions of interest from PEC-registered consulting engineering firms and joint ventures for short-listing to conduct a feasibility study for the establishment of silo-based food grain storage godowns at divisional head quarters across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The project encompasses a pilot basis with 50,000 MT storage capacity or above, and includes operations design, policy frameworks, and institutional intervention components. This expression of interest is being advertised under Rule 25 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement of Goods, Works and Services Rules 2014, with reference EOI No. 01.LOTE5SBG/2026-27. The project represents a significant infrastructure initiative aimed at improving grain storage capabilities and food security management in the province.
Applicants must be PEC-registered consulting engineering firms constituted under Pakistani law, holding valid PEC Project Profile and Service Codes as specified in the EOI document. Firms must have not less than ten years of relevant experience and be listed on the FBR Active Taxpayer List, registered on ePADS, and must not be blacklisted.
