The Executive Engineer Buildings Division No. 1, Bahawalpur invites sealed tenders for maintenance and repair of three residential properties in Bahawalpur, Punjab under reference SOH-I(C&W1-49)/2023/3652. The works include maintenance and repair of Residence No. 45/D and 23/D in Officer Colony Ahmadgat East Road Bahawalpur with an estimated cost of Rs. 0.864 million, special repair and maintenance of Quarter No. 66-1st and Quarter No. 99-II in One Unit Staff Colony Bahawalpur valued at Rs. 0.949 million, and special repair and maintenance of Quarter No. 1-1st, Quarter No. 31/D-2nd and Quarter No. 16-III in One Unit Staff Colony Bahawalpur estimated at Rs. 0.606 million. The total scope comprises routine repairs and maintenance works across three separate residential units with a combined contract duration of three months each.
Eligible contractors and firms must be currently registered and renewed with the Punjab Engineering Council (PEC) for the financial year 2026-27 in the relevant construction category. All bidders are required to register on the newly introduced e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk to participate in the tender. Bid security of fifty-five percent of the estimated cost must be deposited electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System in favor of the Executive Engineer Buildings Division No. 1, Bahawalpur as per PPRA Rule-27. Physical cash deposit receipts will not be accepted. Bidders must submit their PEC License 2026-27 with letter heads to the Tender Opening Committee no later than 11:00 AM on the opening date.
Contractors must quote item rates online on an item rate basis against each component of the Bill of Quantities before 11:00 AM, with rates to be downloaded and publicly announced on 7 September 2026 at 11:30 AM in the presence of participating firms at the Commissioner Office, Bahawalpur. The bid must be electronically uploaded through the e-Procurement System and must be duly signed and stamped. All tenders must comply with PPRA Rules and the recently issued PPRA Circular L&M (PPRA) 10-1/2011-L008595 dated 11 October 2024 regarding non-responsive bids with percentage rates either exceeding or falling below the approved estimated cost.
