Description / Scope of Work
The District Council Sialkot invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms for the construction of a nullah (drainage channel) near Azam House towards the main nullah in Village Ashiq Pur, UC Pindi Bhago, Tehsil Pasrur, District Sialkot, Punjab. The estimated cost of the work is PKR 2,985,000. Bidders must be duly enlisted and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the Financial Year 2026-27 wherever applicable, and must fulfill all eligibility requirements prescribed in the bidding documents. The procurement shall be conducted in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended) through the Punjab e-Procurement System.
Eligible contractors and firms must submit a Bid Security of 5% of the estimated cost only through a Digital Bank Guarantee (e) via SWIFT MT760, generated from the Punjab e-Procurement System. Physical bid securities shall not be accepted. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Security of 5% of the Contract Price through SWIFT MT760 in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended). Bidders must be eligible as per procurement rules and registered with relevant authorities. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder. Only electronic bids submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System will be accepted; manual, emailed, posted, couriered, hand-delivered, incomplete, corrupt, unreadable, virus-infected, or improperly filled financial bids shall be rejected.

Bids must be submitted electronically only on or before 02-09-2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened electronically on the same day at 1:30 PM in the office of the District Council Sialkot in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
