Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi invites quotations for the supply of American grass suitable for outdoor landscaping applications at its main campus on University Road, Karachi, Sindh. The tender RFQ-003956 seeks 3,000 square feet of premium American grass in patches of 1 square foot each (12 inches × 12 inches). The grass must be healthy, fresh, lush green in color with fine uniform texture, disease-free, properly rooted, and free from weeds, pests and visible damage. The supplier must ensure the grass is suitable for Karachi's high-temperature coastal climate conditions and arrange direct farm-to-door delivery to the IBA main stores location. Delivery must include proper transportation, handling and protection to prevent drying or deterioration.
Suppliers must provide a sample of the proposed grass for inspection and approval prior to commencement of bulk supply. IBA reserves the right to inspect all delivered grass and reject any quantity that does not meet the approved sample or specified quality requirements. Any damaged, unhealthy, dried or non-conforming grass must be replaced by the supplier at no additional cost. Payment will be made through crossed cheque after invoice receipt and delivery of items. General Sales Tax applies to applicable items only. Liquidity damage at 2 percent per month will be imposed on delayed delivery. The rate quoted is final with no changes permitted.
Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi by 20 August 2026 at 2:00 PM. All government taxes including income tax and stamp duty (0.35 percent for goods) will be levied as per applicable rates and SRO. Advance payment requires bank guarantee. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning reasons and to issue purchase orders to different bidders or reduce quantities as deemed appropriate.
