Description / Scope of Work
The Deputy Conservator of Forests, Okara Forest Division, Government of Punjab, invites electronic bids for the purchase of 13,200 plants including loading, unloading and carriage at site. The plants comprise multiple species including Arjan, Sukhchain, Amaltas, Terminalia, Gulenishtar, Pilkan, Siris, Bottle Brush, Tabobia, Neem and Alastonia, each with a minimum height of 5 to 6 feet in good health and quality. The estimated cost is Rs 3,300,000 with a completion period of two months. Bids are invited under PPRA Rule 38(2)(a) using single stage, single envelope bidding procedures on the e-Procurement System portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk.
Eligible bidders must be registered as General Order Suppliers, Manufacturers or Firms with relevant authorities and tax departments including Income Tax, Sales Tax and PRA, holding a valid professional tax certificate from the Excise and Taxation Department for 2026-27. Bidders must be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement website. An earnest money deposit of Rs 165,000 (5 percent of estimated cost) is required as per PPRA Rule 27. Bids must be complete, signed and stamped, submitted only through the specified electronic mode, with no cutting, amendments, telephonic or conditional submissions entertained.
Bid documents are available for download from www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted online one hour before the opening date and time of 27 August 2026 at 03:30 PM at the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Okara, where all bids will be retrieved, opened and quoted rates announced at 04:00 PM the same day in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. Submission on the portal is the sole responsibility of the bidder. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any bid under PPRA Rule 35.
