Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Railways Divisional Office Quetta invites sealed bids for execution of two civil works: covering a Foot Over Bridge at Quetta Station for security purposes (approximate cost Rs. 7,423,508) and construction of 10 new watching towers at Quetta Yard (approximate cost Rs. 6,650,070). Both projects are based on Pakistan Railways Composite Schedule of Rates 2016 and will be executed through single stage single envelope bidding. The works are located in Quetta, Balochistan province, with completion periods of two months each. This is a medium-scale civil infrastructure project focused on railway station security and yard surveillance.
Eligible bidders must hold a fresh or renewed CE-06 license from Pakistan Engineering Council with specialization in CE-10 or CE-02 categories. Firms must be registered and cleared from the Sales and Income Tax Department and maintain active status on the Active Tax List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue. Bid security must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) or Pay order in the name of DAO/P.R. Quetta, with the firm or agency name clearly stated. Original bid security and hard copies of bidding documents shall be submitted to the office of Divisional Engineer-I, P.R. Quetta (Work Accounts Branch).
Bidding documents are available free of cost from the E-PADS portal at http://pa.epads.gov.pk (Bid/Tender Nos. P-88879 and P-90358, Version 2.0). All bids must be submitted electronically through E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System Version 2.0 by 12.00 hours on 3rd September 2026. Bid opening will occur on the same date at 12.30 hours in the office of Divisional Accounts Officer, P.R. Quetta, in the presence of firm representatives who wish to witness the process.
