Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Narowal invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms for the construction of bus shelters for green electric buses on the Narowal Circular Route in City Narowal, Punjab. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 42,941,200 (Forty Two Million Nine Hundred Forty One Thousand Two Hundred only). This infrastructure development project aims to support the implementation of green electric bus transport in Narowal city through the provision of modern shelter facilities at designated stops along the circular route. The work is to be completed as per the issued Work Order.
Bidders must be duly enlisted and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and hold all relevant tax registrations including FBR PRA for the Financial Year 2026-27, wherever applicable. The bid security required is 5% of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs 2,147,060, which must be submitted through 1Link or Bank Guarantee options digitally via generated PSID on the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bidders whose quotes fall more than 5% below the estimated amount must furnish an additional Performance Guarantee via e-Bank Guarantee equal to 5% of the contract amount. Single Stage Single Envelope bidding procedure will be followed in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014 (as amended).
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications, and eligibility criteria are available on the Punjab e-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login) and the PPRA Punjab website free of cost from the publication date of this notice. Electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System only on or before 04-09-2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened electronically on the same day at 02:30 PM in the office of the Municipal Committee Narowal in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Only bids submitted through the e-Procurement System will be accepted; submissions via email, courier, post, or hand delivery are not permitted.
