For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

Derawar Fort is a major heritage site requiring specialist conservation work valued at Rs.

752 million over approximately 30 months. This is a single large-scale project, not recurring. The magnitude suggests interest from established contractors with heritage credentials; tight competition likely from firms experienced in archaeological restoration. Bidders should note the two-envelope procedure and the requirement for robust method statements and conservation expertise, not just cost competitiveness.

Who can bid: Typically, bidders must hold active PEC registration (Category A or equivalent for large civil works), possess NTN and SECP registration, and demonstrate prior experience on projects of comparable scale. The notice does not specify minimum turnover or team requirements, but heritage projects typically demand evidence of specialist conservation knowledge and prior work with archaeological departments.
