Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the comprehensive rehabilitation of Tank 5904 located at Kotlajam Depot in Sindh province. The project encompasses supply and fabrication of steel structures (1,200 kilograms), fabrication, welding and installation works for tank bottom build-up repairs, paint works covering 1,105 square feet, and foundation repairs. The scope includes supply and installation of safety railings on the tank top, miscellaneous steel components for columns, beams, pipe supports, bolts, walkways, platforms, staircases, and gratings; bottom plate weld build-up in accordance with American Petroleum Institute API 653 standards with full non-destructive testing and inspection; complete repainting with sand blasting, grid blasting, and application of polyamine-cured epoxy mastic base coat and polyurethane top coat; and civil repair works to rectify damaged or deteriorated foundation portions ensuring proper structural support and level verification.
Prospective bidders must possess technical capability and equipment to execute specialized welding, fabrication, and surface preparation works. Contractors are required to provide third-party fitness certificates for all equipment including welding machines, cranes, compressors, and safety harnesses. All rates must be inclusive of government taxes, transportation, and materials. PSO Approved deformed steel reinforcement bars of 60,000 psi yield strength are specified. Bid security requirements and earnest money percentages are to be specified by bidders in their quotations.
Quotations must be submitted by 03 September 2026 to PSO House, Khayaban-e-Iqbal, Clifton, Karachi. Bidders should obtain detailed specifications, drawings, and coating system standards from PSO.
