Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA), Central Zone, invites e-bids for the widening of Humak Bridge and addition of two lanes on National Highway N-5 from kilometre 1524+000 to 1536+000. This infrastructure development project is valued at Rs. 164,994,623 and falls under the purview of the Ministry of Communications, Government of Pakistan. The work encompasses structural improvements and lane expansion to enhance traffic capacity and safety on this critical national highway corridor in the Federal region. Bidding documents will be available for free download from the NHA e-bidding portal beginning August 24, 2026, and prospective bidders are encouraged to monitor the website for any addendums or schedule updates.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue, listed on the Active Taxpayers List, and hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license for the financial year 2026-27 in Category C-4 or above with specialization codes CE-01, CE-02, and CE-10. Bidders must also obtain EPADS (PPRA) registration at www.eprocure.gov.pk, as manual hard-copy bids will no longer be accepted in upcoming procurements. The bidding process follows a Single Stage – Two Envelopes method under PPRA procurement rules.
E-bids must be submitted to the NHA office at Shahpur Interchange, Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road, Lahore, on or before September 04, 2026 at 1100 hours.
