Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA) invites e-bids for 20 routine maintenance contracts on the Sukkur-Multan Motorway (M-5) spanning 380 to 772 kilometre chainage with individual contract values ranging from Rs 7.77 million to Rs 14.13 million. The works cover routine maintenance and repair activities on both northbound and southbound carriageways across multiple 20-kilometre segments. This is a significant federal infrastructure maintenance programme issued through the NHA e-bidding system for fiscal year 2026-27.
Bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department and listed as active taxpayers by the Federal Board of Revenue, holding valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in Category C-5 or above with specialization codes CE-01 and CE-10. The procurement follows a Single Stage-Two Envelope method, and firms providing unsubstantiated or incorrect information face disqualification and legal action. Any firm awarded two routine maintenance contracts in FY 2026-27 will not have further bids opened.
Bidding documents are available free of cost from the NHA e-bidding website (www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk) from 24 August 2026. E-bids must be submitted by 11:30 hours on 9 September 2026, with technical bids opened the same day at 12:00 hours. Financial bids of qualified bidders will be evaluated thereafter. Prospective bidders must register on the EPADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk, as manual hard copy submissions are being phased out.
