Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Ordnance Factories invites pre-qualification applications from contractors for three separate term contracts at the Clothing Factory located in Wah Cantt, Punjab. The works comprise periodic services including whitewashing, distemper, painting and weather shield applications; repair, maintenance and minor artificer works; and roof treatment of factory buildings. Each contract has an approximate value of Rs. 1.00 Million based on MES Schedule of Rates 2025 as amended to date. Interested contractors may submit separate applications for each work category. Pre-qualification applications must reach the office of the General Manager by 25 August 2026. Tender documents will be issued to pre-qualified firms by 09 September 2026.
Eligible contractors must possess relevant experience, capability and resources, and shall submit partnership deed or firm registration certificate, particulars of permanent staff with qualifications and experience, an affidavit confirming no blacklisting by any department, certificates of income tax and professional tax payment, and Pakistan Engineering Council registration copy. Completed applications must follow the prescribed Performa as per MES Instruction No. 604/21. Contractors already working with POF need only provide particulars of ongoing work outside POF with client addresses. Failure to submit required documents will result in disqualification. Earnest money must be submitted through CDR in favour of the General Manager Clothing POF Wah Cantt.
Tender documents are available at the office of the Technical Officer, Civil Division, POF Clothing Factory following completion of the pre-qualification process. Completed tenders with earnest money must be submitted by 11:30 hours on 15 September 2026 at the Bid Center located adjacent to Rabta Hall. Tender opening will occur at 12:00 hours on the same day.
