Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Building Department (Central Zone) through its Executive Engineer Building Division in Okara District is inviting item-rate tenders for two works: Maintenance and Repair to Government Associate College for Boys at Gogera, Okara District with an estimated cost of Rs. 6.063 Million; and Modernizing Agriculture Extension Services in Punjab at Chah Macchian Wala Mouza Dhota near Bangla Gogera, Okara with an estimated cost of Rs. 3.530 Million. Both projects are scheduled for ten months completion ending 30 June 2027. The tender is issued under the Communication and Works Department and applies to the central zone of Punjab province.
Bidders must be contractors or firms duly enlisted or renewed with PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) in the relevant category for the current financial year 2026-27. A bid security of five percent of the estimated cost is required for each work: Rs. 3,03,128 for the college maintenance project and Rs. 1,76,519 for the agriculture extension project. Bid security must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System (EPADS) at www.ep.punjab.gov.pk in accordance with PPRA rules; physical financial instruments including call deposit receipts are not accepted.
Bidding documents are available immediately from the issuing office and must be submitted online via the e-Procurement System (EPADS) portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. The e-bid submission deadline is 08 September 2026 at 12:00 PM with opening scheduled for 12:30 PM the same day. Bidders should note that the Department is not responsible for costs incurred in bid preparation or delivery. In case of an official holiday on the submission date, the next day will be treated as the closing date.
