Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Corporation Bahawalpur invites electronic bids for the revamping of existing waiting sheds in the city area of Bahawalpur, Punjab. The project has a rough cost estimate of PKR 4,750,000 and is open to firms and contractors engaged in trading and registered with relevant authorities including Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category, as well as with income tax and sales tax departments. The scope covers renovation and improvement of public waiting facilities across the municipal corporation's jurisdiction in Bahawalpur city, representing a municipal infrastructure enhancement initiative.
Bidders must be registered with PEC in the relevant construction category and must hold valid income tax and Punjab sales tax registrations. All e-bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 5 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to PKR 237,500, submitted electronically through the Punjab E-Procurement System (e-PADS). The bid security payment receipt must be uploaded to e-PADS before the closing deadline and a physical copy presented to the Municipal Corporation Bahawalpur office at least thirty minutes prior to the bid opening.

Complete e-bids must be submitted online via the Punjab e-Procurement System portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk by 11:00 AM on 08 September 2026, with bid opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day at the procurement office located at Stadium Road near Model Bazar, Bahawalpur.
